Chelsea forward Eden Hazard notched his 100th goal for the London club on St. Stephen’s Day with a very classy finish against Watford.
Hazard has scored nine goals and provided nine assists for the Blues this season and his latest goal came just minutes after he missed a tap-in from less than six yards at Vicarage Road.
Chelsea defender David Azpiculeta whipped in a teasing ball across the face of goal but Hazard mistimed his shot and then ultimately miss the ball as Watford were let off the hook.
However, the Belgian made amends for his glaring miss just before half-time after he pounced on a Mateo Kovavic pass before rounding Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster and sliding the ball into the back of the net.

The goal meant that Hazard became just the 10th Chelsea player to clear the 100 goal mark for the club with Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard the only other players from this decade to also clear the triple-digit barrier.
After scoring and notching an assist against Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month, Hazard scored twice against Watford on Wednesday but conceded last season that he ultimately prefers to play out wide.
Chelsea will look to bring in reinforcements up front next month with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud both struggling to hold down a place in the first-team and Blues manager Maurizio Sarri insists that Hazard is happy to play through the middle in the interim even though he voiced his frustration with playing in that role under Antonio Conte last season.
‘He told me that he likes very much to play there,’ said Sarri. ‘I wasn’t here last season, so I don’t know why Eden told people this. At the moment, he likes very much to play there.
‘There isn’t a best position for Hazard. Hazard is a wonderful player with a very high level of imagination. He needs to be let free on the pitch. But we need a very high level of organisation.’
