Dynamo Kyiv qualified for the Quarter Finals of the Europa League but it was no thanks to a section of their support who had the game interrupted and the hosts sweating it on the referee’s decision.
The Ukrainian side were taking on Guingamp who held the lead going into the second leg but, as Kyiv went back in front on aggregate with a 75th minute penalty, chaos erupted in the stands that spilled over onto the track.

With the referee calling a halt to the action, Kyiv ‘keeper Olexandr Shovkovskiy decided enough was enough, worried that his side’s lead was in danger of being abandoned.
So he got right into the mix and tried to sort it out himself.
