It’s hard to hate on Cristiano Ronaldo for this.
The Real Madrid superstar has posted a video in which he vocalises what’s been on his mind now that the La Liga season has come to an end.
First, Ronaldo thanks his supporters for the loyalty shown to him in what he describes as a “tough year” as Real failed to win a single trophy.
The Portuguese then has a go at the press because of the “trash” that has been written about him in recent week, specifically about his love life.
“Just leave me alone,” he says. “Let me do my work properly like I do every year. Don’t try to damage my image because it’s not going to happen.”
