WATCH: Cristiano Ronaldo pulled off the sharpest sidestep when a pitch invader interrupted the Portugal game

He'd make a decent winger... in rugby

By hook or by crook, Portugal’s Euro 2016 campaign rolls on.

Thanks to a 5-3 win on penalties against Poland, Portugal have managed to get their way to the Euro 2016 semi-finals without winning a single game game in 90 minutes.

It’s impressive stuff, made all the more formidable by how Portugal have got there with Cristiano Ronaldo still in mediocre form.

The Portugal captain still hasn’t found his best form in the tournament, once again finding himself crowded out of the game and snatching at shots.

But Portugal revolves around Ronaldo; even when he’s having an off game he’s still doing magic.

He still bagged his penalty in the shootout. He managed to transform his saliva into the Euro 2016 logo, and he managed to do this, one of the most skillful sidesteps we’ve seen outside a rugby pitch.

Extra time between Portugal and Poland was a largely dull affair, as both teams looked to shut up shop ahead of the shootout.

The action we did see came from an unknown pitch invader who wanted to hug CR7.

Quite rightly, Ronaldo was having none of it and dodged the streaker, showing the quickness of foot and agility that makes him one of the best players in the world.
