Riyad Mahrez is a dab hand at soloing a sliotar, even if he thought it was a cricket ball.
It’s the keepy-uppy challenge we’ve all been waiting for without, despite the fact that we never even considered it a possibility.
Two-time All-Star Conor McManus squared off against PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez in the classic juggling game with a slight difference. To even up the odds, the sports stars pitted each others’ control skills using a football, a Gaelic football, a rugby ball and then a hurl and sliotar.
You may think that the Algeria international may have been outmatched in the hurling challenge, but he put in a very respectable performance. However, after finishing the challenge, Mahrez will have upset a lot of GAA fans by mistakenly referring to the Irish national game as cricket.
Don’t worry though, McManus was quick to correct. He should know not to make that mistake again.
