Maybe it was all a row over what the ‘Real Capital’ of Ireland is.
Chris Forrester’s season is about to become a small bit shorter after the Peterborough man found himself in a heated situation tonight with Cork’s Conor Hourihane.
The former League of Ireland starlet was in action for his club in their League One clash with Barnsley, when the Dubliner got himself into a row with Bandon native.

Various reports from the ground suggest that Forrester lost his cool with the Tykes’ captain just before half-time, and was sent-off for pushing the Corkman twice in the space of a few seconds.

Certainly it looks as if things got quite heated between both sides.

The incident was captured here. Naughty from the Cork man and his heavy left boot.
Crafty from Hourihane that…right in front of the ref too #badsportsmanship #pufc pic.twitter.com/pz02vtGJGs

Forrester is set to be given at least a one-match ban for his outburst, with the referee’s report waited to see if it will be increased to two.
His disciplinary record has been almost perfect this term for Peterborough, and the incident was out of character for a player who is likely to be moving to the Championship in the summer.
