Barcelona put on one of the most sensational performances ever during a 6-1 hammering against Celta Vigo in La Liga on Sunday.
The highlight of the match was undoubtedly this phenomenal penalty from Lionel Messi. The Argentine wizard managed to do the unselfish thing with a spot-kick and slide the ball into to Luis Suarez who ran in and coolly provided the finish.
The penalty technique is similar to the famous one taken by Johann Cruyff for Ajax back in 1982. The same routine was attempted by Thierry Henry and Robert Pires at Arsenal years later, but the Gunners failed miserably on that occasion.
