What the hell came over him?
Cristiano Ronaldo is being accused of throwing a reporter’s microphone in a lake.
Ahead of Portugal’s crunch clash with Hungary on Wednesday evening, the team were filmed on a morning stroll around their Lyon hotel but, naturally, when Cristiano is in town, those things don’t normally go off too smoothly.

Portugal have underwhelmed in what was considered as arguably the weakest group in the tournament. Draws with Iceland and Austria have put their Euro 2016 future on the line and, with Ronaldo yet to score – even missing a penalty the last day out – the pressure is mounting.
So when you go to stretch your legs and clear your head around the lakes out the back of the team hotel, you don’t want to be swamped. But that’s what happened.

And, whatever was said, whatever got to him, it looked like Cristiano Ronaldo had reached his wit’s end when he seemed to grab a recording device from the hands of a reporter and chucked it away.
