Paul Scholes proved that he was a consummate professional as a pundit last night
The former Manchester United and England midfielder had a slightly embarrassing moment while on punditry duty for BT Sport on Wednesday evening. The United stalwart got cracked on his ginger nut with a loose ball while deliver his analysis on the pitch.
Scholes was smack bang in the middle of making a point, when said point was momentarily derailed by a loose pass that went flying straight into the back of his dome.
However, rather than get upset or lose control, he gave perhaps the most dignfied response he possibly could to that situation. After a quick look around, he said “Waay! Good shot!” with just the right amount of sarcasm to spare his blushes, before continuing his spiel.
Expert recovery.
