We’ve seen a significant improvement in the quality of footwork among goalkeepers in recent years.
But Osasco Audax goalkeeper Felipe Alves brought the standard up to an unmatchable level with this downright insane effort against Ituano last night.
Being closed down quickly by an Ituano forward, Alves controlled the ball with his right before flicking it up and over the head of the attacker with his left.
And while his next touch might not have been the best in the world, he made up for it with a sliding tackle that even Roy Keane would applaud.
The tekkers clearly gave the Audax players the confidence boost they needed as they went on to win the game 2-1 but we have a sneaking suspicion that Alves will be warned to just clear his lines the next time.
