Kolo Toure intercepted a Bournemouth pass before playing a long ball up to Adam Lallana, who passed it through to Sterling. The England forward then twisted and turned away from the opposition defence, before slotting it into the net.
Bournemouth reduced Liverpool’s lead after 57 minutes when Dan Gosling’s shot squirmed past Brad Jones. Liverpool will face Chelsea in the semi-finals, with the first-leg to be played on January 19th.

We’ve all been there. You’re playing a game of football, striding along with the ball into the opposition’s half, get your head up, play a pass and then your wig falls off. Typical. That’s what appeared to happen tonight to Baily Cargill, but the Bournemouth defender somehow managed to soldier on without his hairpiece.
