We did something just like this at five-a-side last night
There’s no real point trying to find the superlatives for Lionel Messi anymore. Everything that can be said about the Argentine wizard has been said. Sometimes you just have to sit back, watch and enjoy.
Barcelona’s opening goal in Wednesday’s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Villarreal was another such example. The assist from Messi was so good that Neymar basically just had to walk into the ball to score.
As pointed out there was eight Villarreal players taken out by the ball. Wow.
Barcelona went on to win 3-1 and 6-2 on aggregate.
When Messi played the pass for Neymar's goal, there were eight Villarreal players (and goalkeeper) ahead of him. Wow. pic.twitter.com/Ox1Wbi4kqU
