After an absolute snoozefest of a first half, the Irish team came out with fire in their bellies.
It took some brilliant skill from Jeff Hendrick (or Hendrix, as he likes to be called by the RTE panel) to lead to the deadlock being broken.
Hendrick picked the ball up on the left channel, beat two Georgian defenders and worked his way inside the box. He then evaded another sliding Georgian before perfectly setting up Jonathan Walters who applied the finish.
