The much maligned Ivorian Gervinho (or Gervais Yao Kouassi for the insufferably pedantic among us) inadvertently produced a moment of pure comedy gold during the Ivory Coast’s clash against Sierra Leone.
The Roma winger scored one of his side’s five goals during their 5-1 drubbing of Sierra Leone in the Africa Cup of Nations. However, by far his most memorable contribution during the match was his simply spectacular miss when he was through on goal. It’s so horrifically awful that it’s actually kind of impressive.
