Carlos Tevez scored a contender for greatest close-range free kick of all time at the weekend.
The Argentine proved that he doesn’t need a lot of space to blast in worldies.
Juventus were awarded an in-direct free-kick after the keeper picked up a back pass just outside the six-yard box. It looked there wasn’t enough room for Juventus to convert the set piece but somehow Tevez found a way.
The former Manchester United and Man City striker rifled home a thunderbastard from the edge of the six-yard box to put Juventus 1-0 up against Empoli. Tevez managed to smash it into the roof of the net over a wall of defenders standing guard on the line.
It marked his 25th goal of the season for the Serie A side.
