You’re hitting the wrong net mate
We like to think that, here at SportsJOE, we would have a fairly decent handle on most sports. We’d survive in either football or hurling, we’d give rugby a decent stab and we could probably hack our way around a golf course, too, in around 100 shots.
We are but mere mortals, so we imagine that top sportspeople would be able to multitask much better than us. We’re thinking the likes of Paul O’Connell being a great golfer, a top class swimmer and sure he didn’t turn out to be too bad at the rugby either.
Unfortunately Diafra Sakho does not seem to be blessed with the same natural ability as POC. The Hammers striker is in decent form this season we don’t think he’s a fan of what happens at SW19 every July if this video is anything to go by.
He was filmed having a game against an unnamed player and is pretty much holding the tennis racket like you would a fly-swatter. He could not look much more awkward than if the tennis court was frozen over. He hits the net alright… but not quite in the way you want in tennis
