Having drawn 1-1 with Chelsea and missed a late penalty to win the game, Valencia’s youngsters lost the penalty shootout despite scoring all five of their penalties.
One of their spot kicks was so well placed, it rebounded off part of the goal frame after it had crossed the line, and rebounded away from goal.
Incredibly, the referee and his officials missed the incident, shown below, and Chelsea went on to win the shoot-out.
