Video: US station cruelly edits report to make Manchester United players look terrible

Shameless

Manchester United fans, prepare to get mildly annoyed. Everyone else, one-liners at the ready.

A video has been doing the rounds on social media this week which shows an extremely biased report from US network beIN Sports which pokes fun at Manchester United’s players

The segment shows Michael Carrick, Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin taking part in a skill challenge for the cameras at a promotional event with club legend Bryan Robson. The idea of the challenge was to try to kick the ball into a hole from a respectable distance.

However, the way the TV station cut the video makes it appear as though the players are absolutely diabolical at the challenge. The edited footage showed United’s players consistently missing their attempts and even went as far to claim that their incompetence caused Robson to get “visibly upset”.

The unedited version tells a very different story though. Check it out after the report in the video embedded below. Robson doesn’t appear all that bothered by the whole ordeal as it’s smiles all round.
