Footballers sitting around watching what normally is a very boring draw for the q-finals of the Champions League suddenly got a whole lot more interesting thanks to this manic reaction from Thomas Muller. The German international can’t control his glee at seeing who the defending champions Real Madrid must overcome in the next round
Bayern got a fairly handy draw against Porto in the last eight, while for most fans the tie of the round is the repeat of last year’s Champions League final as Real Madrid take on city rivals Atletico.
The footage is from Bayern’s own in-house TV station if they do end up meeting either of the Madrid sides, perhaps this may be used as motivation. Or else it will be seen for what we think of it – a player enjoying an exciting pairing in the latter stages of a very difficult competition.
