Remember that slightly disturbing but at the same time amusing Arsenal ad featuring the players’ “relatives”? Well, the club have just released this video which shows how they created that magnum opus.
This great behind the scenes footage reveals how characters such as Trudy Mertesacker , Kenny Wilshere and Darren Oxlade-Chamberlain were all brought to life for that video that will be forever burned into our memories. It gives an eye-opening account of how both the actors and the players worked together to get the fantastic project completed.
On a side-note, the clip opens with the players naming the actors who they would choose to portray them on film. Wilshere’s choice of Daniel Craig, who is over 23 years older than him leaves a little to be desired.
