Police in Manchester are going to have a busy evening it seems if pictures emerging from the city centre are anything to go by.
The Etihad is hosting the clash of Manchester City and Sevilla in the Champions League but it looks like there has been some serious incidents in the city ahead of the clash tonight.
Trouble is reported to have flared between some Sevilla supporters and a group of Polish men just after lunchtime with chairs and other objects, including a bike, being hurled by both sides.

According to reports five fans have been arrested this evening by police investigating the ugly scenes.

It seems that those involved in the violence have been waiting to take their revenge on Sevilla fans for a while. According to various reports this evening those involved in the ugly scenes are a group of Polish ‘ultras’

Some fans are suggesting the trouble may be linked to a Europa League play-off match between Sevilla and Śląsk Wrocław in 2013.
