The Everton forward missed the target with a wild effort during the team’s warm-up ahead of the Toffees’ game at Southampton, striking a fan seated halfway up in the stand.
Most players might feel a quick hand in the air might suffice for an apology, but not the 22-year-old Belgian, who jumped straight into the stand to check on the supporter, offering a big hug in the process.
