It’s a bit different to what we’re used to
What happens in the dressing room is meant to be one of the most closely guarded secrets, but sometimes info leaks out, and we hear for instance that David Beckham got a boot in the face or that a player may have been caught smoking in the jacks
Well the Manchester United players have decided to break the code of omerta for the latest Twitter Q+A by Chevrolet, featuring Robin van Persie, Daley Blind, Ashley Young, Anders Lindegaard and Rafael da Silva.
An Irish child asks the striker what happens at the short whistle and RVP rather strangely admits that looking good for the boss by straightening up his shirt and fixing his boots is part of his routine for the 15 minutes break away from the pitch.
It also turns out that the club’s reserve goalkeeper doesn’t have much to say on the subject despite being probably able to notice more at half-time than anyone else due to his lack of action this season.
One young #mufc fan asked #RVP what happens at half-time. See what he responds with. #AskManUtd now: https://t.co/XbWDkEfgHp
