VIDEO: Roberto Soldado is Roberto Soldado-ing all over his first day at Villarreal

Poor ol' Bobby Sols

Accuracy hasn’t been Roberto Soldado’s strong suit for a few years now.

He’s missed gilt-edged chance after gilt-edged chance since he first pulled on a Spurs jersey in 2013.

And he’s bringing his misfiring tendencies back with him to Spain as his unveiling saw some less-than-perfect kicks.

As tradition with new signings goes, Soldado was asked to fire some footballs into the Villarreal crowd who had curiously gathered to see if their new arrival could recapture the form he showed at Valencia between 2010 and 2013.

Some concern would have grown when he sliced his first effort far right before overcooking his second attempt into the empty stand.

We’re sure that the ricochet will have landed in the grateful hands of some fan but Soldado would want to sort his aim out before he pisses off another group of supporters.
