Video: Robbie Keane is back to work in LA and he has been gushing about his mate Stevie G

It is many months until he arrives but Robbie Keane has lots of nice things to say about his former Liverpool team-mate

On his first day back at work in LA it is safe to say that the MLS champs were happy to have Robbie Keane back. Here is the tweet they put out last night, in case you were in any doubt.

Of course, as soon as Robbie finished his first training session, the question everyone wanted to ask him was how much he was looking forward to Steven Gerrard coming to the club. The Irish striker couldn't have been more complimentary about the Liverpool legend, using, by our count, the phrase 'top player' or 'top, top player' three times in just under two minutes. Robbie goes on to compare Gerrard's passing ability to David 'Becks' Beckham and he assures the LA Galaxy fans that they are in for a real treat.
