Of course, as soon as Robbie finished his first training session, the question everyone wanted to ask him was how much he was looking forward to Steven Gerrard coming to the club.
The Irish striker couldn't have been more complimentary about the Liverpool legend, using, by our count, the phrase 'top player' or 'top, top player' three times in just under two minutes.
Robbie goes on to compare Gerrard's passing ability to David 'Becks' Beckham and he assures the LA Galaxy fans that they are in for a real treat.
We have a feeling Robbie is looking forward to being on the end of those famous passes too.
