Jim Beglin’s eyesight is sharp as a tack.
Jim Beglin has eyes of the hawk, he spotted that goal a good minute before Hamilton did. #IREvBOS #coybig

The former Liverpool man was in the hotseat along withGeorge Hamilton for last night’s 1-1 draw with Bosnia, and he seemed to be much more aware of what was going on during the crazy second half than his main anchor.
The second half was mist(sorry) by pretty much everyone at home, and in the stadium, as a dense fog came into the ground in Zenica.
So when Robbie Brady grabbed a crucial away goal inside the last 10 minutes it meant that poor George and Jim were left clutching at whatever words they could find to describe what they clearly hadn’t seen in the build up.
We think it could very well be Jim Beglin’s finest moment as a TV pundit as he picked up on the fact that there was a massive bloody cheer, players were running towards the corner of the pitch, and Ireland fans going mental down in one corner of the stadium to figure out, just nanoseconds before George, that Ireland had scored.
George’s utter shock at us scoring is fantastic to listen to.

Officially the most anticlimactic George Hamilton reaction to an Ireland international goal ever! #BOSvIRE #COYBIG
