VIDEO: Robbie Brady and the loveliest left foot in Ireland put Wolves to the sword

What a strike

Robbie Brady can hit a bloody ball.

There’s not a cleaner striker of the ball at Martin O’Neill’s disposal but Brady was made to wait for his first goal for Norwich this season… Although it was definitely worth it when it arrived.

The Dubliner’s sublime strike midway through the second half against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday evening proved the winner and a more worthy decider you’re not likely to stumble across.

Brady perfectly set himself thirty yards from goal and awaited the delicate lay-off from front man Cameron Jerome.

When it reached his stride, Brady scooped it first time and curled it beyond the outstretched right hand of Wolves ‘keeper Carl Ikeme.

The strike ensured the Canaries’ spot at second place in the Championship table, two points behind leaders Huddersfield after eleven games played.

Here’s hoping that Brady’s left boot wand is on display again next week against Georgia and Moldova.
