While hardly a week goes by without some official in some sport angering us with a terrible performance (paging Wayne Barnes) we are more flummoxed than upset with this decision from this morning’s A-League action.
In a game between Western Sydney Wanderers and the Newcastle Jets a frankly inexplicable decision was made to disallow a goal for the Jets.
Luckily, the Jets would score again and win the game 2-1, so it didn’t cost the team any points, but we suspect a stern talking to is on the way for the assistant ref.
