If you’re pulling off rabona kicks in five-a-side, you’d want to be a damn good footballer.
Anyone with skill in a local knock-about is a “cocky, show-off such and such”. Anyone enjoying themselves or trying something audacious is a free target. The warrant goes out to end that f**ker’s game.
Keep it simple, and all that.

But Jack Meehan doesn’t need to keep it simple.
If a double drag back wasn’t enough, the Derry man finished off leaving a defender red-faced by dinking a rabona effort into the top corner.
Played out at the Bay Road Soccer Centre in the city, footage was captured of an improvised piece of genius that belongs at a level much higher than five-a-side.
The tackler gets drawn out wide, a spin on the ball leaves him for dead but a challenge is incoming from the other side – not before a right leg can be swung around the left heel to finish exquisitely.
Not even any of our classic astro goalies could stop this.
