The former Manchester United man struggled mightily with the game in Bolivia last night
Playing a game at 3,600 metres above sea level is difficult and the effects really hit former Manchester United midfielder Anderson last night. After just 37 minutes of his side Internacional’s game against The Strongest in La Paz, Anderson had to come off and receive oxygen on the bench.
After missing a spot kick on his debut last week, it has been a rocky reintroduction to the game in Brazil for the 26-year-old.
And, to make things worse, his side lost the Copa Libertadores game 3-1.
