Jaysus. Tough break, Tony.
Whilst Michael Owen continues to light up BT Sport with his riveting analysis and engaging voice, the eccentric Englishman still remembers the days when his life wasn’t all singing and dancing, and he blames Tony Pulis for that rare period.
The former Stoke player (yes, we had to double check, too) appeared on Fletch and Sav before the Liverpool game with Sunderland this afternoon and he claimed that Pulis’ sessions were “mind-numbing”.
Owen spent one glorious season at the Britannia as the swan-song of his career and he said today, “that finished me off, that place.”
Imagine the poor West Brom players watching on. Here comes a man whose training sessions are too boring for Michael Owen.
#LIVE @themichaelowen‘s unique insight into Tony Pulis’ demanding training sessions. Interesting watch! https://t.co/FWC0Yb942X
