“Where’s the passion?”
Aston Villa fans are not happy.
You might not have heard, but they haven’t seen their side win since the first game of the season way back in August. And the Premier League’s basement club sank to new depths on Saturday when they were held by League 2 Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup.
Captain, Micah Richards, was one of the few bright sparks of yet another grey afternoon. The Englishman was deployed at right back for the first time all season and he even notched a decent goal for himself too.

Naturally, with this being Aston Villa and all, it soon turned sour.
Wycombe pegged them back and Remi Garde was condemned to a fifth draw in his 10-game winless career in England. To top it all off, Villa were condemned to play another match amidst a disastrous season. And another one in front of an angry mob with the replay coming back to Villa Park.
Richards was brought off after 84 minutes and, whilst the game was still going (contrary to BT Sport’s tweet), he had a heated exchange with some of the Villa fans behind the dugout.
They are not one bit happy at what they are seeing but fair play to him for trying to reason with them. That couldn’t have been easy.
