We still haven’t got the hoverboard’s promised by Back to the Future.
However, with pre-season training due to begin on Monday, Memphis Depay doesn’t have time to wait for the device to be invented, mass produced and delivered to him in Manchester.
So how is he supposed avoid using his legs, and save energy, while pushing a pram down a high street?
He can’t use a skateboard, it just wouldn’t be practical. While a segway would require the use of his hands, so he wouldn’t be able to push the pram.
This is a serious dilemma, but one the winger seems to have solved.
Depay posted this video to his Instagram page. The Dutch winger is on a hovertrax skateboard, a sort of hybrid between a futuristic hoverboard and a skateboard.
Footballers of the world salute you Memphis, you’ve solved one of life’s great mysteries and will surely be rewarded when you show up for training on Monday with a pair of refreshed legs.
H/T 101 Great Goals.
