Mario Gotze knew exactly what he was doing with this answer to the Liverpool transfer speculation.
The German World Cup winner was quizzed about the rumours surrounding his future after Bayern Munich’s 5-0 trouncing of Werder Bremen on Saturday.
The interviewer asked Gotze straight out “Did you get a call from Klopp”? in relation to the rumour that his former boss at Borussia Dortmund is looking to bring him to Anfield in the summer.
The 23-year-old remained coy with his answer. He chuckled while responding “You’ll have to ask Jurgen that”. Check it out in the video below.
