Where are they all going to play
Liverpool’s under-age system is undergoing something of a mini-revival at the moment after years of disappointment when no players emerged after the golden trio of Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen.
But with Raheem Sterling and now Jordan Ibe breaking through and Jon Flanagan making an impression last season, it seems like Anfield has a number of exciting prospects to look forward to over the coming years.
Well a new name that might be added to that list is winger Jerome Sinclair, who scored a very tasty solo goal for the Reds last night in their U21 Premier league win over Chelsea.
After picking up the ball from Wales’ latest teenage sensation Harry Wilson, Sinclair drove into the Chelsea box and scooped the ball over the oncoming keeper from an acute angle.
He’s got blistering pace and clearly a decent shot so it’s just a matter of time before we see the England man in a full Premier League game
