He’s Liverpool’s newest signing and he has followed in the footsteps of Roberto Firmino in journeying from Brazil to Anfield.
The 18-year-old put pen to paper for Brendan Rodgers’ men for what is believed to be a fee of around £500,000.
A midfielder by trade, de Souza comes from Inter and he is already with Liverpool for Saturday’s friendly with Helskinki.
The club actually announced that the player would be on the bench for the Reds before they even confirmed his capture.

But they soon put that right.
