Jurgen Klopp is not your typical football manager.
And that always for an interesting day when watching his Liverpool team since he took over at Anfield after the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.
The Anfield crowd have given the ex-Dortmund manager a huge warm welcome, and today the former Mainz man wanted to give something back.
Which of course is understandable when fans had to endure another frustrating day of seeing their side fail to beat a so-called ‘weaker’ Premier League outfit.
Liverpool had a Divock Origi 95th minute goal to thank for rescuing a point in today’s 2-2 draw with Tony Pulis’ side.
And afterwards Klopp gathered his players to salute the home support who had seen one of their ex-players in recent weeks taken off with a horrible injury as Dejan Lovren suffered what appears to be a longterm knee injury .
Some thought it was a very classy gesture

Klopp taking the players over to the Kop to thank them is the best thing I've seen all season, shame the modern fan don't get it #lfc

I like Klopp but he's got psychology wrong there. Imagine LVG doing that at OT in similar circumstances. Guffaws would blow roof off Kop

And the clever folk at the BBC twigged that they had seen it somewhere before
