He didn’t find it as funny as the journalists.
You’d despair at the lack of flight mode knowledge amongst the English media but this was an innocent enough mistake.
A reporter at the Liverpool press conference was caught out with the old full memory problem on Wednesday when his dictaphone started beeping to signal disaster.
Jurgen Klopp looked more bemused than entertained as he picked it up to highlight the problem but he didn’t go to the Neil Lennon levels of banter. Or Sean Dyche. Or David Beckham. Or Alan Pardew.
He was, however, just a little bit more tolerant than Roy Keane.

The reporters probably thought they were fine having that gaffe with the affable German but imagine doing it with Roy Keane?
And imagine having the neck to not only have it happen to you, but to let it happen to you. Twice.
Alan Pardew’s laugh-at-the-poor-fella tactic was much better.
Or, if you’re Sean Dyche, you could just pick it up, answer the thing and blame whoever is ringing rather than the person receiving the call.
Don’t try the David Beckham approach, that’s just not good craic.

Neil Lennon’s got it bang on though.
