Is Jermaine Pennant about to turn into the Mesut Ozil of the S.League?
The former Arsenal, Liverpool and Stoke winger came up with a masterful assist that the German would have been proud of and he did it just a day after signing his year-long contract with Tampines Rovers of Singapore.
Pennant, 33, didn’t need long to settle in to proceedings and was quick to point out that he was still excellent, despite nursing an injury.
Well that was a good run out came on 30 mins left nursing a slight thigh strain 80% but managed and assist and 1-0 final score well boys!!!!

The former England international came off the bench and set up the only goal in a home friendly with the always tricky Johor Darul Takzim II.
We joke but, to be fair, the delivery was bloody perfect and it may mean that he’s already gone down as the best player ever to play in Singapore.
