VIDEO: James McClean responds to unlikely abuse from Peterborough fans with tasty assist

That will teach em.

James McClean has had one of those nights that he appears to have all too often.

The Derryman arrives at a club ground away from the Hawthorns, and gets roundly booed and abused by whomever West Brom may be playing.

The Baggies faced a FA cup fourth round replay tonight against Peterborough at the Abax stadium, and the Irishman was once again a magnet for negative attention.

We suspect he is used to it at this stage, and fans in the ground booed him throughout the game, while he also took plenty of stick on Twitter.

And the abuse continued as he took a lesson in wing trickery from West Ham loanee Martin Samuelsen.

So we imagine it gave the Ireland winger great satisfaction when his pass and run into the box ended with his deflected cross popping up snugly for Darren Fletcher to make it 1-1 on the night.

And most fans felt that it would be sweet if the Irishman got the winner, after his tough night at the ‘Posh’.
