There are a lot of familiar faces here. Some welcome… some not so welcome.
Despite being the ripe, young age of 23, Jack Wilshere has played alongside some world class talent. So it will come as no surprise that his Ultimate XI of teammates both past and present is stacked with some “top, top players”.
However, there are a few surprise inclusions on Wilshere’s team, including four players who jumped ship from Arsenal when they had arguably reached the peak of their respective abilities.
Former Gunners Cesc Fabregas, Bacary Sagna, Ashley Cole all make the cut but perhaps the biggest shock was the inclusion Samir Nasri, who has been universally hated by the Arsenal faithful since he left for Man City.
To cap it all off, he’s sucker punched every Arsenal fan below the belt with his selection of John Terry to partner Laurent Koscielny in central defence.
