During that dreadful summer lull before the start of the new season, we’re delighted that at least the University Games is producing some golazos for us.
This one came courtesy of Claire O’Riordan during Ireland’s draw against Chinese Taipei.
Ireland made a quick break down he wing, and the ball ended up at O’Riordan’s feet inside the box. However, since the cross went slightly behind her, she still had a lot to do to finish off the chance.
O’Riordan managed to perfectly get her foot around the ball and delicately dink it over the Chinese Taipei goalkeeper into the back of the net.
