The Girls in Green put in a lionhearted performance against England last night.
Ireland u-17 scored an emphatic 2-0 victory over our neighbours across the water at Turner’s Cross on Thursday evening.
By far the highlight of a great game was an absolute belter from Saoirse Noonan, that sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Noonan lobbed the keeper with an exquisitely weighted lob from the edge of the box, that gave the English number one absolutely no chance of keeping the ball out of the net.
