If there is an award for the most heart-warming gesture of the year, then Everton have to win.
You may have seen over the last few weeks some clips of a young Everton fan who has not let his disability come against his love, and passion, for football.
George Shaw is a huge Toffees fan, and the nine year old, who has cerebral palsy, had his dream come true this afternoon at Goodison Park when he was invited onto the pitch at half time in the clash with Swansea.

But he wasn’t just asked to come on the hallowed pitch, he was walked on by Gerard Deulofeu who has spoken how inspiring the nine-year-old has been since the club made contact with him recently.
And Shaw got a chance today to score a goal that will live long in his memory, and is likely to have gotten the biggest cheer of the season at Goodison Park.
