Andrey Yeshchenko is the latest professional athlete this week to be at the centre of a dangerous driving scandal.
A mental video has been doing the rounds online which reportedly shows the Anzhi Makhachkala defender, who is currently on loan at Kuban Krasnodar, wrapping his car around a lamp post.
Yeshchenko was allegedly caught on CCTV footage destroying his very expensive Nissan GTR by smashing it into a pole at 105 miles per hour (168 kmh).
Rumours have been circulating that Yeshchenko may have consumed alcohol at the time of the accident, while Kuban are refusing to comment on the incident.
While the crash doesn’t look too pretty in the footage, reports suggest that Yeshchenko avoided serious injury in the incident.
