Marcelo’s hoop inspired Hannover’s comeback against Frankfurt at the weekend.
Hannover 96 aren’t having the best run of form of late. Having not won a game since 2014, they were in desperate need of some sort of result in their Bundesliga clash against Frankfurt.
Things weren’t looking great for Hannover as they went 2-0 down to Frankfurt. However, they secured a 2-2 draw to salvage a point from the match and the comeback was sparked by Marcelo’s rear-end.
The defender grabbed that essential first goal to bring it back to 2-1. Marcelo got on the end of a corner and guided the ball into the net with his arse. Ya Konan slotted in a late equaliser to save the game for Hannover.
