Cometh the hour, cometh the Totti.
Francesco Totti proved yet again that he’s worth his place in the AS Roma squad by sparing their blushes against Atalanta in the Serie A on Sunday.
The Italian football legend needed just seven minutes to make an impact on the game. Totti was brought on for Daniele De Rossi on 79 minutes with Roma trailing 3-2 and in the 86th minute he managed to salvage a point for his side.
Roma were piling on the pressure with some scrappy play in the opposition box that looked destined to come to nothing. Then, the ball fell to the feet of Totti on the edge of the box with a defender quickly closing him down.
Still with a lot to do, Totti got the shot off first time and absolutely buried it past the keeper by the near post.
