Two goalkeepers played a starring role in the Dutch top flight at the weekend.
Feyenoord earned a comprehensive 2-1 away victory over FC Dordrecht in the Eredivisie on Sunday and it took a moment of magic from shots-topper Kenneth Vermeer to secure victory in the 11th hour.
Dordrecht made the Hail Mary play in injury time when they brought goalkeeper Filip Kurto up for a corner kick. The cross was weighted beautifully for Kurto to get his head on the end of it and he directed a magnificent header that looked destined for the top corner.
However, Kurto was denied the glory of salvaging a point for his team when opposite number Vermeer made an acrobatic leap to stop the ball from sailing into the net.
