VIDEO: Downbeat Louis van Gaal talks about losing belief as odds are slashed to be next sacked

Is his time up?

Can’t buy a win, can’t even buy a half decent performance.

Louis van Gaal is feeling it.

The Manchester United boss was booed viciously out of Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon after the team lost at home for the first time in this Premier League campaign.

A 2-1 defeat to Norwich granted the Untied crowd a licence to let van Gaal have it and, in his post match press conference, the Dutch man was downtrodden.

“You have to win against Norwich City,” he said. “You have to win every home match, I think. And we did it, also, this season ’til now,” those were his words. Not ours.

“Every word I say about the defeat is one word too much because the expectation is that we win against Norwich City.

“When you lose a game, belief in the manager shall decrease. That is happening now. I cannot close my eyes for that.”

Louis van Gaal is currently favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job. He is actually odds-on with most outlets. You can even find him as short as 1/6.
