As elegant as the man himself
While last night’s Champions League game reminded us of many things (Arsenal’s frailty and Richie Sadlier’s magnificent tailor being just two) it also gave us a blast from the past in the form of Dimitar Berbatov.
The former Tottenham and Manchester United striker scored the crucial second goal, and while he never exactly busted a gut, his class shone through.
In a post-match interview with Sky’s Geoff Shreeves, he also took down the interviewer’s question as deftly as he would a high ball out of defence, responding in a simply perfect Berbatov way.
